The Sunseeker Elite X7 Gen 2 introduces an advanced solution built around its Floating Dual Cutting Disc system, engineered to deliver a wider, cleaner finish while actively protecting grass health.
At the center of the system are two independently floating cutting discs, delivering a combined cutting width of up to 35 cm with 12 rotating blades in total. This wider cutting path increases coverage efficiency and creates a more open, even mowing pattern. The result is a lawn surface that appears smoother, more uniform, and professionally maintained.
Unlike fixed cutting disc designs, the floating structure allows each disc to adapt subtly to terrain variations. Whether operating on uneven ground or transitioning across minor slopes, the discs maintain consistent blade engagement without excessive downward pressure. This helps prevent scalping and uneven trimming, particularly in complex lawn environments.
Turf protection is further enhanced by the Rear Active Steering Motor. The self-steering drive wheel navigates turns independently, reducing lateral drag and minimizing the twisting forces that can damage grass during directional changes. Instead of pivoting rigidly on the lawn surface, the mower executes controlled, fluid turns that preserve turf integrity.
Together, the floating dual discs and rear active steering create a balanced system: precise vertical cutting combined with gentle horizontal movement. The electronically adjustable cutting height (20–100 mm) adds another layer of adaptability, ensuring consistent results across grass types and seasonal growth conditions.
